First Coast Christian Bass Club was founded in 1990 by a group of dedicated Christian anglers. The club's foundation is based on Christianity first and fishing second. Our meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM at Hibernia Baptist Church, modular building 4, 7100 Hwy 17, Fleming Island, Fl. The meetings include prayer, Bible study, and fishing techniques. Our tournaments are held on Saturdays with one out-of-town weekend tournament per year and a two-day Classic each November. First Coast Christian members are members of "B.A.S.S." and the Florida B.A.S.S. Nation. Our goal is to make everyone a better angler and Christian. We strive to make sure everyone improves their fishing skills. Come join us! Next Meeting: Nov. 2, 2023

On Day One, Herb brought in a 5 pounder and an 8 plus pound bass to get the lead for Day One. On Day Two, his boater, Jerry, made a come-back to win the 2023 Classic with a total of 24.69 pounds. Great Job Jerry, and congratulations. Herb finished with a total of 23.18 pounds and placed 2nd. Ryan Montgomery finished in 3rd with a total weight of 15.78 pounds. John Trotter came in 4th with a weight of 13.55 pounds with the Day Two Big Bass weighing 5.87 pounds. John Portie, Justin Bowden and others, however, caught some nice bass. Many thanks to Ray Pack for teaming with Eddie Diggs and helping him to get on some bass. We can always count on Ray.

2023
Brian Hanna is the Angler of the Year for 2023. He also had the Big Bass of the Year at 8.1 pounds. We had several guests to fish with us and we gained a few new members. Welcome, new members. The Classic proved to be exciting for those who fished it. Many nice bass were caught, and the weather cooperated. Eddie did an awesome job as this was his first year as Tournament Director.
Thanks to all of the officers for a job well done.

Thank You
